Put our tent up in the living room, washing clothes, and all these things to think about. But we enjoy it. It brings a bit joy in our life, especially it hasn't been easy for the last few weeks. So we are looking forward of enjoying each other and creation of God, just being out in fresh air (maybe snow and rain, brrrrr), but at least we can explore Gods nature. We will visit some Mercy Ship friend in NewCastle and then another one in Scottland. We will walk approx. 53 miles :-)
Hadrian's Wall Path National Trail is an unbroken 84 mile signposted trail stretching from coast to coast, from Wallsend in the east to Bowness-on-solway in the west.
It passes through some of the most beautiful parts of England - from rolling fields and rugged moorland to the vibrant cities of Newcastle and Carlisle.

Hadrian's Wall once stretched across the width of Northern Britain from coast to coast. It was built in 122 AD upon the orders of Emperor Hadrian and remains one of the most magnificent Roman monuments in Britain today. The Romans made very good use of the rugged landscape of Northumberland when building the wall and this makes for an ideal week of walking. In addition to the wall itself, there are many examples of mile-castles, turrets and garrison forts still standing which make this structure unique within the Roman Empire.
Around 150 miles of World Heritage Site from South Shields to Ravenglass, including 73 miles (120 kilometers) - or 80 Roman ones, if you prefer - of Wall (of course, not all standing now - the passing millennia have taken their toll). There were once over 30 forts on the Frontier, including 16 along the line of the Wall itself alongside coastal, outpost and supply forts.
