Yummy strawberry cake ~~~ Leckerer Erdbeerkuchen

This is how God is looking after us :-)
This week on monday we were going shopping and we were looking into the dessert section. I just looked into the fridge space where I knew they store the cakes which are on offer. Only to look at them is just a joy for your eyes. The reason for these offers is, that they are already for a while on sale, but nobody bought them. On the day they 'go off' they get selled for half price or even less. They have to be usually eaten at the same day they are bought. So we saw this nice looking Strawberry cake, which was reduced from 9 Euro to 3 Euro (which would be probalby £ 7.50 to £ 2.50). Wouldn't you have bought it? Usually here in France a quarter of the size is 2.60 Euro.
Below you can see the cake we bought. We enjoyed it soooo much. A seldom but very yummy treat.

Diese Woche am Montag waren wir einkaufen. Und ich habe in eine Kuehltruhe geguckt, wo ich wusste, dass da Sonderangebote von Kuchen drinnen sind. Es ist ein Genuss, schon alleine fuers Auge die Kuchen anzuschauen, auch wenn wir nichts kaufen. Der Grund wieso die Kuchen heruntergesetzt sind ist, das Verfallsdatum ist erreicht. Und somit wird alles heruntergesetzt was nicht verkauft wurde. Lebensmittel muessen aber am gleichen Tag verzehrt werden. Wir haben diesen guten Erdbeerkuchen gesehen der heruntergesetzt war von 9 Euro zu 3 Euro. Haettet ihr den dann nicht auch gekauft? Normallerweise zahlt man fuer ein 1/4 des Kuchens 2.60 Euro. Wir haben den Kuchen mitheimgenommen und schlemmernd verzehrt.
