Andy is totally different to me. I think he prays a lot quietly in his mind and when he is on the go. Here one example:
Andy wanted to take his printer with him to France, but because of weight and luggage he had to leave it in England. So the other day, somebody whom were be given a printer didn’t need it and asked me. I said: Oh, ask my husband, I assume he would love to have one. Andy didn’t say no, so we’ve got it. Andy ordered the cartridges online, and a friend how came Wednesday from England brought them with her.
He started to look for a little cabinet to put the printer on, nothing fancy. Every third Wednesday per month, people just throw their rubbish or good things away. Things they don’t want or need anymore. So yesterday we went around the houses, and guess what… we found a little cabinet, perfect for our use. See picture. Thank you God.
For me, I need to sit and actually have the feeling, me and God are sitting together and having a chat. There are times when I wake up too early in the morning (actually at 3 or 4 o'clock in the morning). To let Andy sleep I go into the kitchen, make a cup of tea and lighten a candle. Then I start to talk with God, I tell him the things which go through my head. These are things which don't let me sleep and most of them are related to french.
Because of the busyness of the day: study going on and having friends over, the night seems the only time when I can have a 'real quite' time. Even though I am tired afterwards, I am glad I spend the time with God.

Please, keep us still in your prayers! Learning another language is not easy, it looks like especially not the french one (French people say the same thing about the german language). All the people who are studying with us feel either called to stay in France or to go into a french speaking country. Not quite sure how our neighbour from South Korea gets in the test 20 points out of 20. Because not only has she to deal with a totaly different language, on top she also has to learn the alphabet altogether. We have another friend who works in Italy, she was with us in Birmingham and she started almost at the same time with language learning in Italy, is struggeling as well.
This coming Monday we will have a week school holdiay, and we will be actually going away for a few days. Just to get out and to experience the South of France. We hope we can practice a bit our french. We decided to take one of our french grammar books, so we can do 1 hour a day.
Thank you for upholding our tired arms! We need your uplifting prayer!

Exodus 17, 8 - 13:
The Amalekites came and attacked the Israelites at Rephidim. Moses said to Joshua,"Choose some of our men and go out to fight the Amalekites. Tomorrow I will stand on top of the hil with the staff of God in my hands."
So Joshua fought the Amalikites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill. As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. When Moses' hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up - one on one side, one on the other - so that his hands remained steady till sunset. So Joshua overcame the Amalikite army with the sword.
What for a great reminder, what prayer and intercession can do.

Jutta, I can relate to you with the language struggle (my struggle with Russian). I am actually just getting ready to blog about this! Stay strong and I am already impressed that this is your second foreign language you are learning!
