Our holiday in Gambia

From Conakry to Banjul it is only a bit more than 1 hour flight. We were thinking if it would be better to drive, going through Senegal and then to Gambia, but we thought it is better to fly.
We enjoyed our time very much. A friend of ours was so nice to give us her house over the Christmas time and New Year, which was such a blessing. Just having electricity and hot water all the time, oh, we forgot honestly how that is.
I think because of travelling over 2000 miles in Guinea, we were just exhausted, so all we did was walking and relaxing on the beach. We've walked for miles, sometimes we couldn't walk anymore.
We celebrated also Andy's birthday. I've made a chocolate cake which was a bit burnt, but still nice. We celebrated with our housemaid and people who live as well in the compound, it was great, good memories. Here some photos. Enjoy!
