Now and in a few weeks

I can’t believe how fast this week has gone by. Yesterday we had a class-party. We wrote our final test last Tuesday. Andy has already taken the ‘Christmas lights’ down from the bookcase. Everybody is getting ready to either go on vacation or to leave for good. When I look back and reflect on our time here, it was a hard and stretching time, but also a time where we laughed about ourselves in the classroom and Andy always lightened the atmosphere with his humour. Struggled with many colds, headaches and tiredness. Visiting the beautiful countryside of France in the North and in the South. Having been blessed meeting so many new great people who are on the same mission: to learn French to serve overseas. Eating lots of Korean food and trying ourselves to cook Korean style, but guess what, it never tasted the same. Our wonderful house group with 2 single ladies and 3 couples met every 2 weeks, presenting 5 different nations. And our conversation partners who were patient with us to listen even if they did not have a clue what we were saying. We look forward to meeting our families and friends again and spending time with them. Getting ready to leave for our journey to Africa. Thank you very much for all your cards and letters, I put them up on the wall in our sleeping room, like wallpaper. The other day, I took them off, afterwards I realized I had not taken a picture of it. Just to say, that we valued every thought and every card. Thank you also for the feedback to my blog and E-Mails. Thank you as well for all your prayers! Through them, we could run the long race and finish well. Just for your information: When we are in England, I will not write on the blog every Saturday. First of all we will not have any internet, if we want to check our emails we have to go to the library. Also, most of you we will be visiting and seeing you.
