Tomorrow, it will be a 2 hours drive from here to the Mali-Guinea Border, hopefully we will cross the border in 1 hour instead of last time 3 hours. We are planning on climbing a little mountain and after that we have 2 hours back to Kankan, where we will stay over night. (You have seen already the hotel pictures). The next day, probably early, it will take us around 8 hours traveling to Macenta. The roads to Macenta, I have heard, are not great. We will be 4 drivers in the car, so it will be probalby alright.
For the next 6 weeks we will be monitoring and follow a couple. He is a doctor and she is involved in some multi enterprise projects with women. They have told us, that Macenta is a very nice place. Women can walk freely by themselves and greet people.
Please pray for a great time in Macenta: that we can learn lots from the couple, from their experience of working closely together with Guineans. Also we would like to be a blessing to them, as we absorb them in their work and free time.
We have already talked about that they will invite as around to their home for Pasta and I will bake a cake, smile. I wonder how this will work out. I will take a picture.
I am not sure, how the internet situation will be in Macenta. But I will try to keep you updated.
