Mail arrived

The mail system works, our letters arrived yesterday. (Sunday)
Every letter had a frank on it with the 02.August. Andy thinks that all the mail you sent is kept in London, until there is enough to send to Africa, Conakry.

So we were reading news you wrote in June, also things which will be happening in August, which is now. So we had fun reading them with a cup of tea, we each read one at a time. We enjoyed reading them all and SURELY they already have found a place in our living room.
In the first 2 weeks being in Conakry, we had the chance to go into the Post office. After seeing how it looks inside, we understand why mail takes so long. There are around 7000 PO Boxes in which people sort the mail into. We saw mail laying on the floor in big hug sacks, just pilled on each other, or maybe better said, thrown on each other. So we are glad that yours arrived. We are looking forward to receiving some more, smile. Don’t get discouraged, because it may take a while.

We are doing well here in Macenta. My cold is almost gone. But I feel like, I still have to watch myself. Yesterday I bought a few leggings, which I can wear underneath the skirts which makes me look a bit bigger though, smile. I think, the trouble is the weather: in the night it is quite cold which last until the mornings, but at Noon, it is getting so warm, that I either sweat or I take the leggings off.

Anyway, thanks again for your prayers. Keep up the good work in writing to us. I will write more next week.
