Cooking

Sometimes, when we are tired of rice, we eat Fries. Here I am cutting potatoes in little tiny pieces. Andy is trying to get the carcoal going which is not easy. It took us quite a while.

Here they are in the oil cooking away.

Salt on, and ready to eat. Andy is also getting the meat ready.

I am preparing the fish. I have learned it here in Guinea how to take the heart and stuff out of the fish.

For dessert, I bake normally banana bread, because Bananas are easy to find.

One time I already made some Christmas cookies.

For the cookies we need sugar which gets normal bought in bags, so does flour. Andy is filling it in a jar, so that the little animals can't get to it.
