The rice tastes quite bland, so I wonder if I have to go out to by some spice, like red pepper or, smile.
PAST: In 1995 God turned my life completely up side down. Since then it is a journey to draw closer to him every day and allow him to change and to use me – for the purpose and plan he has for me. PRESENT: Corrie ten Boom said once: 'My final destination is Heaven.' That is where I am heading too. See you there!

Eating with the children
Shortly after arrival, we came to an agreement that we would eat with the children and cook for ourselves in the big kitchen. The first 2 days, we had our lunches upstairs in our ‘kitchen’.
Then we started to eat downstairs with the 28 children. It is a good environment to get to know them and they get to know us. We eat whatever they eat and I think they like that. Usually, like in Africa, we eat rice every day. The difference is that we eat lots of black beans. Not really my favourite, but there aren’t many, so it’s fine.
