Mundane

How many days at work do you consider mundane, well our days have started to settle down.

Jutta is teaching Mondays and Thursdays and ladies groups on alternate days.  Andy is teaching four days a week, these were beginning to become mundane. But today was a good day a praise day. Andy now has 7 students in his mechanics class and we were able to give the gift of clean water to a ladies group Jutta is working with.

9 am came and I was ready to start the mechanics class, a call came through on my phone, another new student was on his way, I was amazed at how word of mouth was working, the class is now up to seven. The first month I was deflated with only two students and then they left after finding jobs. In the meantime I started to help with the drill-rig, drilling wells. Then we visited the Honda garage and spoke to a friend who worked there, he promised to do all he could to publicise the course. Students have been coming since, all mentioning our friend’s name.

After the course we left to collect our mail, Jaffa cakes and Sensation crisps ‘Thai Sweet Chili’ arrived  to keep us going, and onto Jutta’s ladies group who are learning macramé. We had arranged last week that if they bring two buckets, Andy would fit water filters into them and thus giving them clean filtered water. The ladies trickled in with their buckets and Andy fitted filters while Jutta taught the macramé class. The gift of clean drinking water has been given to those in Petionville Baptist Church ladies group.
It made us think, that as small as everything looks just a little can make a huge difference. Water filters can improve a family’s health, and thank you Lord for seven enthusiastic students.
