What you can do with a little vision

Kids and Pre-school

We had the privilege of visiting a town where our Swiss team mates work, it's a four hour drive, with a 20 mile section which is particularly bad, it bends and curves up and over a mountain. The views are amazing apart from the road section that is only three metres wide as the rest has been washed down the hill, (sorry no photos, concentration was on driving). The trip was worth it when arriving and seeing the great progress being made.

An unfinished house and 50 kids

One team member had a vision to start a pre-school, as here they sit in class and have to sit still.
She wanted them to have fun and learn.

Soil on the floor, do the kids mind!

Learning with their small chalk boards

Happy and content to play at break time

The house was given by a local family to use, as at the moment they haven't the means to complete it.
The owner of the house teaches and plays with the children and gives his time as a gift. He has a vision for future leaders coming out from the pre-school.
The kids are free to learn in an open style, yes they have lego and other toys that are new to them, but they also are allowed to express themselves in creative ways.
What a joy to spend a morning with excited kids wanting to learn.

A vision and the right people, see what can be achieved. You don't need big bucks to make a difference, just a desire.
