Violence and Physiotherapy

Violence across the country has marred the local elections held on Sunday the 4th. Our city has been calm and no reports of disturbances. The capital has not been so lucky, Please read HERE

Prayer & Praise Points
1. Pray for calm after the local elections. Pray for families who have lost loved ones in the rioting in the capital.
2. Victors English classes have started very well with 6 professionals and 1 university student.
3. Victor visited the director at the water company, he was told that the pipe from the reservoir had been crushed by trucks driving over it, a replacement is to be fitted imminently, here that could be anytime!.

Caroline has started Physiotherapy with a lady in her crochet group after a stroke, she is making good progress in building up her muscles and the ability of full movement with her right arm and hand although her two smaller fingers are unresponsive to fine motor skills. She is struggling more with her right leg, which drags when trying to walk. This is particularly hard on the family as a whole as she was a care giver to her daughter, who at a young age fell from a tree while trying to reach mangoes. Since the accident she has been paralysed from the neck down and needs help in many tasks. The daughter now in her mid-twenties is found in her chair outside the family home, she loves to learn new things, now she learns new English words from Victor while Caroline is with her mother.
