Valentines Day

I hope you all ticked your boxes on Wednesday It's funny how much influence you have as a teacher. Victor was teaching his adult students this week and on Monday came up the subject of occasions we celebrate in the West. The first one was Mother's Day which they all keenly told me that they always give their mothers money. Then I added that this week was Valentines Day, they all piped up saying it was when they showed their wives how grateful they are. I thought wow that's great, I added that sometimes I take Caroline out for dinner at a restaurant, but this year would not be possible because we had English class. Then on Wednesday I started class, but one man was missing, I asked where Mr Sow was? His work colleague said that he had taken his wife out to a restaurant because thats what Victor had told him was a good thing to do on Valentines day. Need to watch what I say! Caroline's stroke patient is getting on well with her exercises, she is really determined to get back to crocheting sooner rather than later.
