Silence in open spaces

We have been away for a break, it was time to fly away and spoil ourselves for a bit. We could eat what we wanted, we could hike without people following us, we could drive miles and not be shattered when we arrived.
No it was not Blackpool
Now all these people were hanging around to see?
Old Faithful, right on time.
We visited family in Canada and friends in Montana. We stayed with new friends courtesy of AirB&B, a new one for us.
We drove on nice flat roads, that seemed to go on and on into the horizon.
We pampered ourselves and it felt good. We hiked mountains and walked along lake shores.
We saw nature at it's best, geysers, hot springs, pools of many colours, mountains and canyons and natural arches.
God is so creative.
Don't these two look good :-)
One of these furry fellows walked very close to the rental car while Caroline was driving, I asked her to open the window, she promptly refused saying that it might eat her.
Capitol hill, Caroline liked this state!
Prayer Points:
  1. Please pray as we are back in Guinea. The teachers are on strike again as the government hasn't paid the salary agreed after the last strike.
  2. Pray for our colleagues, because of health reasons the family have returned to the UK. Pray that they will be able to find employment and that the baby will born at the right time and healthy.
  3. Pray for our new family that have just arrived, they are struggling with culture shock and fears for their 6 month old who fell ill in the first week. Pray that they will find strength and peace to persevere.
