Caroline has been out and about this week. Thursday she travelled to a village 2 hours from our city to visit a 3 year old girl named Sarah (Name changed). She was born with a genetic condition which does not allow her joints to grow correctly. She was seen by colleagues at the age of nine months but they didn't think that she would grow past the age of one. Caroline recounted to Victor how with physiotherapy this little one could have a future, but her family just leave her to her own devices during the day, as she tries to crawl around the room. Pray that the grandmother will do the exercises with Sarah on a daily basis to help her gain strength in her limbs. Introducing you to Sarah. Sarah's arms and legs are very small and weak, they do not have the strength to hold her weight.  Help needed to walk.

Caroline thinks that with daily physio she would improve rapidly. Victor commented "Why didn't you bring her back so that you can work with her?" Not culturally appropriate!
