When I read this poem it touched my heart. So I tipped it up from the internet. I hope the person who wrote it doesn't mind, me using it for my blog. May it be true for all of us that: The Lord is my Comfort and my shephard. He is the one who watches over me. I do not have to fear.
The Lord is my Comfort
I have climbed a lot of mountains, as the path of life I’ve trod
And I’ve found that earthly problems
Make me lean the more on God.
When my trials seem too heavy,
And I feel I’ve lost my way,
Then I know my only comfort
Is to turn to God and pray.
He has promised He won’t leave me,
And my prayers will all be heard,
As I claim each precious promise
That I find within His Word.
If today you’ve reached the end of
Every shattered hope and plan,
Ask the Lord to bear your burden.
He’s the only One Who can!
