Hello family and friends
Today is a week since we arrived back from our travels; it took us a while to get washing done also our new language school started in the afternoons. Now we are back on track again.
A few of you were a bit concerned because you haven’t heard from us, we just wanted to say: Thank you for all your prayers. We are thankful for Gods protection during our time of travel! Roads and traffic are crazy here in Guinea. We took one road: Andy drove 10km/hour for eight hours, so you can imagine how bad the road was. We saw a few accidents, Lorry’s on their sides at the roadside. Andy drove 1000 km in one week. One special purpose of the trip was to visit the two towns we could be working in: Gaoual or Labe. In the middle of January we will be moving to Labe anyway to start there with our local language learning.
At the SAM Retreat we had a great time to see friends again which we had worked along side in Macenta, also to meet all the other missionaries who work across Guinea with the Swiss mission.
During the retreat we had to make a decision where we could see ourselves working in the future, we gave our feedback and input. Please pray that God will give the Regional Secretors of BMS and SAM wisdom and Gods hand will be shown in this situation, because they will have to make a decision together.
We will tell you more about the two villages and our view after the final decision is made. Thank you for your understanding.
Again we appreciate your friendships, prayer support and that you are very faithful of staying in touch with us.
