Mimy always comes to us in the morning, before we go out. We knew that soon or later she will have her babies, so we prepared a box for her and I cut Andy's old trousers up, so she can lay comfortable. Andy came home and told me, he promised somebody the trousers, oh well, maybe he could have just the legs, smile.
I knew today was the day, because she left a little red mark on the floor. I put her in the box, and she stayed there nicely. Then she started to get into labor.
Because we had two meetings scheduled, we needed to leave her alone. When we came back after almost 6 hours, we had 3 little kittens waiting for us. I guess they will stay in the box, and when we are ready to go on home assignment the whole box needs to be taken out, to the place where she had her other kittens before. And when they are weaned the Haitians will give them away like last time.
